Clients managed
Drippl.io, a growth marketing agency specialising in e-commerce, was manually managing the validation of their creative content with around twenty clients via Slack and Notion. We built a custom Slack app connected to n8n that fully automates the approval workflow. Result: 2.5 hours saved per day and zero lost messages.
An agency drowning
in Slack messages.
Drippl.io is a growth marketing agency specialising in full-funnel acquisition for DTC e-commerce brands. The team manages ad campaigns, creative content production (UGC), landing page optimisation and retention strategies for around twenty clients.
The agency used Notion to track its internal content creation pipeline. Each piece of content was tied to a client and a status based on its progress. At certain stages, client approval was required: they would send the content via Slack, collect feedback, then manually update Notion. With 20 active clients, they were losing track of messages and spending 2.5 hours per day on this task.
A custom-built
Slack application.
We built a custom Slack application using the Block Kit UI. The system automatically intercepts status changes in Notion and sends interactive messages to the relevant clients. Three buttons let them approve, reject or review the content directly from Slack.
What we
implemented.
Automatic trigger
As soon as a piece of content reaches a status requiring approval, n8n detects the change in Notion and automatically sends a message to the appropriate client Slack channel.
Interactive Slack interface
Three buttons in the message: "Open in Notion" to review the content, "Approved" to validate, "Rejected" to request changes. Clients respond in one click.
Automatic Notion sync
Click "Approved": the status automatically moves to the next step in Notion. Click "Rejected": a text field opens to capture feedback, which is added as a comment in Notion, and the status reverts to the previous step.
Multi-client deployment
The system was duplicated around twenty times, one instance per client, each configured for the client's specific Slack channel. All orchestrated by n8n.

Simplified client experience
The Drippl team no longer spends time copying and pasting feedback between Slack and Notion. Clients approve in one click, comments are automatically recorded, and the pipeline moves forward on its own. The team can focus on what matters: creating high-performing content for their clients.
